Boulud got his star in Lyon France at the age of 14. By the time he was 17, he was working in a three Michelin star restaurant in Paris. He worked at three other three-star restaurants before he eventually decided to travel across the pond to New York. There, he worked around at some of the top restaurants before opening his own spot.
