Kelly Ripa is best known for co-hosting the morning talk show, Regis and Kelly, but before she got a start in Hollywood, she was a spirited cheerleader in New Jersey. She was a member of the Eastern Regional High School squad and later took drama classes. Her teacher inspired her to pursue acting, and she later landed several soap opera roles.
