Olivia Munn spent some time in Japan while her father was stationed in the Air Force before her parents' divorced. Afterward, she and her mother moved to Oklahoma, and Munn joined the Putnam City North High School's cheerleading squad. After graduation, she studied journalism in college, but later on discovered that her true passion was acting.
Holding On To Her Roots
Munn is candid about her military past, and has discussed how she and her family moved around a lot to keep up with where her father was stationed. She's talked about how that made it difficult to make friends. When she made it to Hollywood, she landed acting jobs in movies like The Predator and shows like The Newsroom.
