US Figure Skating Team's Last Flight

This is the final flight the USA figure skating team would take as it would never reach their destination.

In 1961, the many members of the USA Figure Skating team were aboard a flight for the World Figure Skating Championships in Prague, Czechoslovakia when things went haywire. Sabena Flight 548 had an unidentified mechanical error. The flight went down in flames into a field. All 38 passengers died in the wreckage and the nation lost some of its top performers.
