Due to COVID-19, even celebrities are having to wrangle their children for some homeschooling. Chrissy Teigen is one such celebrity.
Teigen recently tweeted a photo of her homeschool set up for her daughter Luna and wrote, "If you are a teacher in need of supplies for the upcoming school year, please drop your amazon wish list here, I will do as many as I can!"

Thousands of teachers and their family members and friends all responded to Teigen's Tweet. Chrissy came through on her promise and fulfilled 50 wishlists for teachers. She also purchased some other items for teachers in need.
With COVID-19 still lingering in the US, teachers already burdened with having to purchase things for their classrooms are now having to also task themselves with setting up digital learning spaces and learning new tools to teach children from anywhere.
While most tech supplies are purchased through the school districts, teachers are having to supplement with their own purchases for tools they never needed before given the current global climate.
