In the mid-2000s, Twilight actors Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were universally adored as every teenager's favorite couple. The bliss lasted until 2012 when the tabloids published photos of Stewart and director Rupert Sanders sharing a kiss. The director, who had been working with Stewart on Snow White and the Huntsman, was married to model Liberty Ross at the time. The exposure of their affair did not bode well for Stewart's career at the time.
