Marvin Gaye
Marvin Gaye is one of the most notable musicians ever, but he didn't make enough cash to make it to the end of his career. He filed for bankruptcy in 1976 because he lost his footing on his alimony payments. Gaye was required to pay his ex-wife over $600,000 worth of royalties from his impending release, but before he could complete the payments, Gaye was killed by his father with a gunshot.
