Best TV Episodes of All-Time, Ranked

#26. Lost- Pilot

Passengers on the Oceanic Flight 815 get stranded on a strange island and have to figure out a way to survive after their plane crashes. The pilot for Lost is divided into two parts. One of the most important ingredients of a good series premiere is the ability to hook in viewers. The first two episodes of the ABC show are likely to be chosen in any fan-voted lists because they lay down plenty of hooks. What exactly made the plane crash? Where exactly is the island? Why are people disappearing? Tragedy tends to unite people hence it makes sense that many people were touched by the episode.
