After the long and extensive court battle, the judge ruled in favor of Whitney and Kevin’s parents, stating that the children will stay with the families that raised them. This ruling was a shocking end to the controversial case. It was a tough call, and everyone involved wasn’t really sure what the court would rule. It would make sense to put the children back with their biological families, but they were actually strangers. And the girls, now nearing six years old, have spent the most important parts of their lives with their wrong families. It would be wrong to separate them, as the court decided, but they should still try and keep in touch.
