After a bizarre incident during Sunday's NFL game between the New York Jets and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Antonio Brown has been released from the Bucs organization.
During the game, in the second half, Brown was seen on the sideline removing his jersey and gear, and then tossing his shirt and gloves in the stands before running off the field and back to the locker room. Teammates Mike Evan and O.J. Howard seemed to be attempting to calm him down prior to this to no avail. Viewers and announcers didn't know the reasoning for this until after the game.

Coach Arians told the press he tried to get Brown to enter the game, and Brown refused. He was asked again, and refused again to which the coach responded "get out."
This wasn't the first time Brown's behaviors have landed him in trouble within the league. Most recently, he had just returned after a three-game suspension for violating the league's COVID-19 protocols after using a fake vaccine card.
The Bucs signed him on the heels on an eight-game ban when Brown had multiple allegations of rape and sexual assault and a no-contest plea on a felony burglary conveyance charge. When the team signed Brown, Coach Arians said, "He screws up one time, he's gone."
Sunday's scene was apparently the straw that broke the camel's back.
