Andrew Garfield plays this version of Spiderman, opposite of supervillain Dr. Curt Connors, also known as The Lizard. When Spiderman tries to ask the police for help, the police captain doesn't believe him and makes a subtle Godzilla reference by asking Peter Parker, "Do I look like the mayor of Tokyo?" This joke was made up on the spot and became an act of spontaneous comedy gone right.
