Holding Him Accountable
Once Ivan Lopez made it to the hospital, he was sedated and cuffed to his gurney. His injured arm needed surgery immediately, so he was put under anesthesia and wheeled into the operating room. As soon as he was put under, officer Eric Montanez and DEA agent Craig Donahue arrived at the hospital as well. Donahue followed the ambulance in his squad car after the packages were seized from Lopez’s truck.
