19. Senior Yukon
14-year-old Yukon was living in an extremely dangerous area on the south side of Chicago with a broken tail and numerous other injuries said to have been from blunt force trauma. He was then rescued, treated and rehabilitated before being adopted by a loving family and now lives in a wonderful suburb of Chicago.
Once at his new home, Yukon reportedly ran around the new backyard and rolled in the snow, with a big smile on his face. Although his senior’s life may already be numbered, he at least will spend the rest of his days probably the happiest that he will ever be.
